Future Intelligence — Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 9, 2026
Future Intelligence is an emotional regulation app. To do its job, it asks how you're feeling. That's personal. So this page says exactly what we collect, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.
This policy covers the Future Intelligence app (iOS, Android, and web), the website at futureintelligence.app, our emails, and our live sessions. It is published by WTCHY, INC ("Future Intelligence," "we," "us"), based in Miami, Florida.
The short version
Your emotion check-ins, HRV entries, and journal reflections are used to run your practice: to recommend what to do next and to show you your own patterns. Nothing else.
Your journal is private. No one on our team reads it.
We never sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
If an employer or sponsor pays for your membership, they never see your data.
We never quote your data back to you in marketing emails.
You can download or delete everything at any time, from inside the app or by emailing us.
The rest of this page is the detail.
1. What we collect
Things you give us
Account details. Your name, email address, and login credentials [or the sign-in provider you use, such as Apple or Google].
Emotion check-ins. Each time you start a practice, you choose an emotion and how strongly you're feeling it. We store each check-in with its date and time, and your check-out state at the end of a session if you log one.
HRV. If you enter a heart-rate-variability reading from your wearable, we store it with your check-in. [The app does not currently connect to Apple Health, Garmin, or any wearable directly — you type the number in yourself. Update this if you add syncing.]
Journal reflections. Anything you write [or record] in the journal.
Questions and feedback. Anything you send through Ask a Question (text or voice), or to our team by email or message.
Referrals. If you invite someone through Grow Together, we receive their name and email address from you and use it only to send that invitation.
Payment. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store or Google Play. They process the payment; we never see your card number. We receive confirmation that you subscribed, which plan, and whether it's active. [If you also sell subscriptions on the web through Stripe, say so here — the same rule applies.]
Live sessions. If you join a live Practice Hour, we know you attended, and we may keep notes on what was discussed to improve the app.
Things we collect automatically
Practice activity. Which teachings, meditations, and movement practices you play, when, for how long, whether you finish them, how many times you return to them, and your streak.
Device and technical data. Device type, operating system, app version, language, time zone, IP address, and crash reports.
Notifications. If you turn on push notifications, we store a device token so we can send them.
Website cookies. See section 8.
Things we don't collect
We don't collect your precise location, your contacts, your photos, or anything from other apps on your phone.
2. How we use it
To run your practice. Your check-in decides which practices the app offers you. Your activity decides what you see when you come back.
To show you your patterns. Your dashboard — which feelings show up most, how your nervous system is trending, how sessions have shifted you — is built from your own logs and is visible only to you.
To improve the practices. We look at check-in data across all members, with names removed, to see which practices actually move people — for example, what share of members who arrived overwhelmed left calm after a particular meditation. This is how we decide what to record next and where to place it.
To communicate with you. Account and billing messages, member updates, and session invitations. News and offers only if you've opted in, and you can unsubscribe from anything non-essential with one click.
To remind you. Push notifications, if you turn them on, are a daily nudge to practice. Turn them off anytime in your device settings.
To keep things working and safe. Fixing bugs, preventing abuse, and meeting our legal obligations.
What we won't do
We don't sell your data. We never have and we won't.
We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We don't use your emotional data in marketing. We will never email you saying "you've logged anxious six times this month." What you log is for you, not for our copy.
We don't share individual data with employers, sponsors, or anyone else who pays for a membership on your behalf. They may receive aggregate participation numbers (how many seats were activated, for example) — never anything about a specific person.
We don't use your journal or your check-ins to train AI models. [Confirm against Base44's terms and any AI provider you use.]
3. Your journal is private
Your reflections are stored so that you can return to them. They are not read by our founder or anyone on our team, and they are not used to build content, testimonials, or emails.
There are three exceptions, and here they are in full:
If you ask us for help with a specific entry — say, it won't save — someone may need to look at it to fix the problem.
If an engineer is fixing a bug in the journal feature, they may see entries in the course of that work. Everyone with that level of access has signed a confidentiality agreement.
If the law requires it — a valid court order, for example.
That's the whole list.
4. Who can see your check-ins
Your individual check-ins and HRV entries are visible to you. Our team can see them only in the ways described above (support, engineering, legal) and in the anonymized, aggregate form described in section 2. When we talk publicly about what's happening in the app, we talk about patterns across members, never about a named person. If we ever want to share your specific story, we will ask you first, in writing, and you can say no.
5. Live sessions
What's shared in a live Practice Hour stays there. We don't repeat members' personal shares with names attached — in member updates, on social media, or anywhere else — unless the person has told us they're comfortable with that. [Sessions are / are not recorded. If they are: say why, who can access the recording, and how long you keep it.]
6. Sharing your own results
At certain milestones the app may offer you a shareable card: a summary of your days, sessions, minutes, and the positive states you landed in most. It is opt-in, it is created only when you tap the button, and it never includes your journal, your HRV, or any negative emotion you logged. What you do with it once it's on your phone is up to you.
7. Who we share data with
We use a small number of companies to run Future Intelligence. They process data on our instructions and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.
App platform and hosting. Base44 (part of Wix), which hosts the app and stores your data.
App distribution and billing. Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play).
Email. Flodesk, which sends our member updates and newsletters.
Live sessions. Zoom.
Engineering and development partners who help build and maintain the app, under confidentiality agreements.
[AI provider. If Ask a Question or any other feature runs on an AI model, name the provider here and say what is sent to it.]
[Analytics or crash reporting. Name any tools, or delete this line.]
[Web payments. Stripe, if you sell subscriptions outside the app stores.]
Beyond these, we share personal data only:
when you ask us to or agree to it (a testimonial, for example);
when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of members, our team, or others;
if Future Intelligence is ever acquired by or merged with another company. This policy would continue to apply to your data, and we would tell you before anything changed.
8. Cookies and the website
futureintelligence.app uses cookies that are necessary for the site to work — for example, to remember that you already closed the waitlist pop-up. [If the site uses analytics or a Meta/Instagram pixel, name it here, say what it does, and give a way to opt out. A pixel counts as "sharing" under California law.] Where the law requires it, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out.
9. How long we keep data
While your account is open, we keep your practice data so your history and patterns are there when you return.
When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days. It may survive in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after that, and then it is gone.
Anonymized, aggregate data — how well a meditation performs across all members, for example — does not identify you and may be kept.
Billing and legal records are kept for as long as the law requires.
10. Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can:
See and download your data. [Profile → Export in the app, or email us.]
Correct anything that's wrong.
Delete your account and everything in it. [Profile → Delete Account in the app] or email [PRIVACY EMAIL]. We'll confirm when it's done.
Turn off notifications in your device settings.
Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any email.
We respond to requests within 30 days, and we won't treat you differently for making one. If we need to be sure it's you, we'll ask you to confirm from the email address on your account.
If you live in California. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to delete it; to correct it; and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms, and we use sensitive personal information — which includes your emotional and health data — only to provide the service you asked for. You can authorize someone else to make a request on your behalf. The categories of information we collect are listed in section 1.
If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. Our legal bases for using your data are: performing our contract with you (running your practice); your explicit consent for health-related data such as emotional state and HRV, which you can withdraw at any time by deleting your account; our legitimate interests in improving the app, keeping it secure, and communicating with you, which we have weighed against your rights; and our legal obligations. You also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Your data is stored in the United States, and we rely on standard contractual clauses for that transfer.
11. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, encryption at rest through our hosting provider, access controls, and confidentiality agreements with everyone who touches the system. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you as the law requires, and sooner if we can.
12. Age
Future Intelligence is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
13. What the app is, and isn't
Future Intelligence is a training practice, not medical care. It does not diagnose or treat any condition and is not a substitute for a therapist, doctor, or emergency service. If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services — in the US, call or text 988.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you and note it in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always tells you which version you're reading.
